POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst (“SFRA”) role will work closely with the Corporate Finance leadership team to ensure that the finance function is a valued partner to Opta’s business and its leaders. The SFRA will be responsible for delivering consolidated financial information and critical business insights to senior management and other key stakeholders. Furthermore, this role incorporates a combination of financial analysis, business modelling, process/systems development, and project management to ensure that business and financial objectives are met.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related area
- CPA designation or CPA candidate (close to completion)
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 to 3+ years of relevant work experience in financial reporting and/or financial planning and analysis
- Consolidations experience would be an asset
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Limited travel
