Description:

Job Title: Senior Fire Engineer
Location: Dublin
Salary: 50k - 70k GBP
We are seeking a skilled and experienced fire engineer to join our client in Dublin as a member of the senior team.
Our client offers a relocation allowance and can provide VISA sponsorship for you and your family, if needed.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Over 3.5 years of experience working as a fire engineer in a consultancy environment;
  • Developed fire strategies and engineering solutions for a range of projects, including residential, educational, commercial, cultural etc., meeting client expectations and adhering to tight deadlines;
  • Prepared technical reports for submission to Building Control and Fire Service authorities;
  • Reviewed technical data to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and fire strategy requirements;
  • Created technical mark-up drawings to guide the design team;
  • Performed CFD modeling of smoke control systems;
  • Participated in meetings with clients, design teams, and Fire and Rescue Services;
  • Oversaw the technical, commercial, and professional growth of graduate engineers, helping them achieve their career goals.
  • Progress towards Chartered Status or relevant professional registration/qualification.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Fire Engineering or a related field such as Mechanical, Structural, or relevant engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead fire engineering projects, ensuring adherence to codes and standards;
  • Develop fire strategy reports throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Provide fire engineering support for a diverse range of construction projects;
  • Conduct fire safety assessments and risk analyses;
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship;
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders, maintain working relationships.
