EXPERIENCED SENIOR / PRINCIPAL FIRE SAFETY ENGINEER REQUIRED FOR A LEADING GLOBAL FIRE SAFETY COMPANY

TITLE - Senior Fire Safety Engineer
LOCATION: Belfast
SALARY - £40-75k DOE + Annual Bonus, Company Car, Health Insurance

CLIENT: Join a renowned global fire safety company specializing in fire science and offering comprehensive fire safety expertise across various industries.
ROLE: Senior Fire Safety Engineer
A thorough understanding of building and safety regulations, combined with solid engineering principles, is essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative fire engineering solutions and strategies, along with preparing comprehensive reports. Strong experience in project management, client engagement, collaboration with local authorities, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills are critical to success in this position.
EXPERIENCE: Senior Fire Safety Engineer
A postgraduate degree in fire engineering or a related engineering discipline is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of fire engineering principles and fire dynamics. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing fire strategies, offering practical solutions, and producing detailed reports. A proven track record in creating and implementing innovative fire engineering solutions across various building types is required, as well as a solid working knowledge of UK and international fire safety legislation and guidance documents.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital, coupled with a demonstrated ability to manage projects efficiently. Prior experience engaging with and negotiating with clients and local authorities is highly valued. Familiarity with building regulation Eurocode is desirable. An Irish Driving Licence is mandatory, as the role requires travel to sites throughout Northern Ireland.
