Description:

At NVIDIA we develop high speed optical interconnect chips, hardware and firmware. As the product complexity is growing, we are looking for Senior FW engineers. Our products connect the super computers and hyper scale datacenter of the world at +400Gbit/sec. We enjoy the tough challenges of inventing, designing and implementing state of the art systems.
The Danish team works closely with NVIDIA sites in Israel and USA and have access to extensive knowledge, technologies and tools, yet we are responsible for our own product line of PHY ASIC’s. Taking the products from concepting, through design, implementation, verification and release to customers. What you will be doing:

  • Develop low level FW for our chips in initial phase of prototyping, chip validation and performance optimization.
  • Prepare chip bring-up on all levels: Emulation, SW debug tools, low level communication, documentation, regression.
  • Define, implement and support API and documentation to allow fast integration of ASICs in product applications.
  • Support ICs and FW towards internal and external customers.

What we need to see:

  • 7+ years’ experience with FW development Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded platforms and python for scripting, automation tasks and data processing.
  • Proficiency with Linux as development platform and with Git for version control.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles with a systematic approach to planning and execution.
  • Broad knowledge on SW tools for development, verification, documentation and build systems.
  • Ability to create strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or similar.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with IC and optical design, network and supporting external costumers.
  • Knowledge about embedded security concepts (public/private keys, signature, tokens, etc.).
  • A good understanding of basic lab equipment and the ability to control it.
  • Hands on lab experience from ASIC bring-up.
  • A passion for creating solutions that lasts and are platform independent.
