About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineering Manager to lead the Gateway embedded firmware (eFW) Team. Reporting to the Director of Systems and Software, Systems Business Unit, you will have six direct reports with an anticipated growth to 11 direct reports by Q2/24. You will be responsible for the delivery of gateway products for our energy systems, as well as the growth of your team. You will be supported in technical issues by senior members of your team. You will ensure the team has good communication with teams from Hardware, Manufacturing, Marketing, Program Management, Quality, and Compliance.

  • Meeting quarterly project progress targets, with goals that come all the way from the CEO
  • Professional development of your team
  • Representing your team to the yearly Performance Focal Group and Promotion Review Board
  • Technical decisions regarding design
  • Managing relationships with project management, product management and the wider engineering teams
