JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a strong experience in wedding flowers. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively with customers, and a keen eye for detail. As a Senior Florist, you will be responsible for creating stunning floral arrangements, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
This position will be a contract for a full-time employee from April to October, with possibility to extend if interested.
4-5 days a week depending on candidate’s needs.
Salary will be based on experience. Relocation assistance may be provided if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and craftsmanship.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Ability to design bridal and wedding party bouquets, centrepieces, and floral installations with foam-free techniques, in the Early Grey design style
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Drivers license
• Able to work on weekends where we have events

  Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

• Design and create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations.
• Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Assist customers with selecting flowers and plants that meet their needs while providing expert advice on care and maintenance.
• Maintain inventory levels of flowers, plants, and supplies; ensure freshness and quality of all products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a well-organized work environment.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• On-site wedding set-ups in Prince Edward County and surrounding area, as part of a team, and independantly.
