Compensation: $25 - $32/ Hourly
Come Grow with Us! Forsite is actively looking for a Senior Forest Technician based out of our Prince George or Smithers, BC office.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- A safety conscious attitude, experience supporting safety programs, and developing a team safety culture;
- Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in forestry;
- Registered or eligible to registered with the FPBC as an RPF or RFT;
- A minimum of 3 years of multiphase timber development project management in British Columbia;
- A strong understanding of the forest legislation, regulation and policy impacting forest planning and management in British Columbia;
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about forestry and working outdoors in all weather conditions;
- Able to work both independently under limited direct supervision as well as in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:
The Sr. Forest Technician is responsible for forest development activities including reconnaissance road/cutblock engineering, ecological and riparian assessments, and completing the associated plans, deliverables, and appraisal packages in a safe, timely, cost effective and professional manner.
