Job title: Senior FP&A Accountant

Salary: £54,793+ (Depending on skills and experience)

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) – AAT will not be accepted
  • Excellent MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Passionate about improvements and maintaining a continuous improvement culture
  • Strong communication skills and confident presenting to a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Organised and pro-active self-starter
  • Experience of process improvement and data visualisation

Desirable:

  • Previous line management experience
  • Competent with TM1 IBM Planning Analytics
  • Experience of working with Power BI/Power Pivot/Power Query

Responsibilities:

  • You will have a fantastic opportunity to drive change and improvement and have an influence on how we effectively present key analytics
  • You will lead the day-to-day financial reporting processes end to end: capturing requirements, creating and communicating plans, reviewing inputs, providing synthesis and issuing reporting
  • You will manage a team of 2 FP&A professional staff and proactively support and lead on their development needs
  • You are supporting the Monthly Financial Reporting including key risk & opportunity rationalisation, consolidation and ensuring timely submission of required inputs into group reporting system
  • You will be the key support to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and providing challenge to forecast submissions for year-end KPI’s and cashflow
  • You are leading the Business Risk & Opportunity management process to ensure the external risk/opportunity landscape is understood within E&I and reviewed effectively with Leadership team
  • You will drive key improvements across the team through data visualisation, looking to adopt new reporting dashboards and promoting a continuous improvement mindset
  • You will also support with ad hoc queries from the Finance Directors and FP&A Financial Controller
