Who will you be working with? This role reports to the Software Engineering Manager
Where is the position located? This is a full-time role based in Eagle Farm (Qld) or Fountaindale (NSW)
As a Front-End Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement user interface components for our cloud-based products and services, with a focus on React framework. Your expertise will be crucial to problem-solving, developing and executing objectives, and driving the achievement of both short-term and long-term goals of the organization.
What will your typical day look like?
- Collaborate with the development and UX team to create optimal front-end solutions for our products.
- Review application requirements and interface designs.
- Design, implement, and test user interface components using React.
- Write application interface codes using TypeScript following React workflows.
- Develop and implement front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
- Monitor and improve front-end performance.
- Troubleshoot interface software and debug application codes.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Work closely with the Team Lead and Test Team to ensure development meets the required specifications.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a Front-End Developer.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with tools such as GIT.
- Strong expertise in the following areas:
- Proficiency in React and experience with TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and other front-end languages.
- Experience with React tools including Webpack, Enzyme, and Redux Toolkit (RTK).
- Understanding of how to integrate with backend web APIs.
- Experience in user interface design.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, and/or Cypress.
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
