Jobkey is building a B2B SaaS platform in the staffing industry. We help companies and staffing providers streamline the interaction with each other to maximize efficiencies. Thereby, the corporates can purchase professional services through the platform and manage the contingent workforce. Backed by renowned business angels and family offices, we are defining a new market leader.

Tasks

• Architect Our Frontend Infrastructure: Design and implement the entire frontend architecture, selecting the optimal frameworks and tools to build a scalable, high-performance platform from scratch.
• Develop an Exceptional User Interface: Create intuitive, responsive, and engaging user interfaces that deliver outstanding user experiences across all devices.
• Establish Frontend Best Practices: Implement coding standards, testing protocols, and development workflows to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead and Mentor Future Team Members: Set the foundation for a growing team by mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex, high-performance web applications
• Demonstrated ability to design and build frontend architectures from the ground up, selecting appropriate frameworks and tools (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue.js) for scalable solutions
• Proficiency in backend frameworks, such as Node.js, working with integration of REST APIs, and GraphQL
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and caching techniques
• Strong sense of UI/UX principles, with the ability to collaborate closely with designers to create intuitive and engaging interfaces
• Highly motivated and proactive, eager to take ownership of the frontend domain and mentor future team members in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Experience working in agile teams, with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to product strategy
• Fluency in German and English
