REQUIREMENTS

You will have a proven track record working on scalable web applications. You should have experience with designing, developing and maintaining web applications using the latest web technologies. Taking a very UX focused approach to building applications, our frontend practice ensures that InfoSum can deliver it’s desired experience to the user using more informed design decisions.
You’ve delivered numerous projects at scale, and are the person people turn to to help solve the most complex challenges. You enjoy mentoring others, and excel in both technical skills and strategic thinking. This role requires deep expertise in user management systems and hosting complex micro-frontend environments.
We are looking for people with a focus on delivering solutions for our customers, a genuine passion for problem solving, coding, and who enjoy being challenged. eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship, with either weekly or monthly visits to the Basingstoke office, depending on location.

The Ideal Candidate would have:

• 8+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development, with a focus on React
• Acted as a technical authority on Frontend, leading discussions, and setting standards across the team.
• Developed and implemented user authentication, authorization flows, and other user management features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, UX/UI designers, product managers) to deliver new features and improvements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and solve complex issues to ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead code reviews, mentored junior developers, and contributed to continuous process improvements.

An exceptional candidate would also have experience of:

• Experience in auth and security on the frontend (e.g., OAuth, SSO, CSRF, SRI hashing etc)
• Vite / React Testing Library / Cypress
• XState
• GraphQL
• Docker / Kubernetes / AWS
• Express.js / NEST.js
• Build Processes (Webpack/ Vite)
• Microservices experience would be advantageous
