Responsibilities:

The Frontend core team focuses on creating, improving, and maintaining core functionalities for all teams that develop front-end applications at Sygnum.
As a senior software engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Sygnum’s front-end (FE) application, one of the key growth channels of the bank. You will build and maintain the technological foundation to provide an ever-growing suite of libraries for other developers in the company, explore new options to improve our development cycle, and enhance the quality of current front-end applications.

As a senior software engineer, you will:

  • Actively participate in developing new features and improvements by writing and reviewing high-quality and secure code.
  • Constantly enhance the quality and security of applications, identifying existing technical debt and making plans to repay it.
  • Respond to production incidents promptly and efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity.
  • Collaborate with platform engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes.
  • Collaborate with designers to define proper components and create a unified UI.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to reach common goals.
  • Nurture and guide more junior software engineers through coaching and mentoring.
