We are looking for a (Senior) Frontend Engineer who is also capable of backend development to join our team. Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining the user interface for our merchant-facing product, which helps users monitor and manage payment transactions. However, you will also need to understand backend processes and occasionally jump in to develop or adjust backend components when necessary. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a full-stack environment and enjoys tackling challenges across the entire tech stack.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development with TypeScript and React.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiar with backend technologies like Kotlin, Java 17, Spring Boot etc.
• Able to develop, adjust and maintain backend components (as needed).
• Cloud platforms understanding (AWS, Azure, GCP, Heroku etc.), we are using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with data processing tools and protocols used in transaction systems is nice to have.
• Proficient in using GitHub for version control and experienced in setting up GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Excellent English communication skills in written and verbal.

• Design, develop, and maintain the user interface of the merchant dashboard using TypeScript, React whilst implementing and enhancing features based on UX/UI designs.
• Conduct testing using Jest & Cypress to ensure reliability and performance.
• Set up and manage micro frontends integrated into a larger application (Single SPA).
• Use GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement permission-based access and manage authorization levels.
• Use Node.js and NPM to work with internal shared libraries and interact with Google Cloud Storage for CDN purposes.
• Ensure a secure, efficient, and maintainable codebase with clean coding practices, including code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging issues.
• Collaborate with backend developers using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot for seamless integration.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform and infrastructure tools like Kubernetes and Flux CD.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create a high-quality, user-friendly product.
