Tasks

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications.
  • Design and manage databases.
  • Collaborate effectively in an Agile environment, utilizing JIRA for project management.
  • Take full responsibility for completing tickets, ensuring all aspects (360 degrees) are covered confidently and thoroughly.
  • Think critically about edge cases and follow the best coding standards to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Communicate proficiently in English, both written and spoken.
  • Participate in daily video conferences and stand-up meetings, ensuring alignment with the team and project goals.
  • Overlap working hours with German time zones to ensure smooth communication and collaboration with the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver them with high quality and within deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think through edge cases.
  • Experience with good coding standards and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Understanding accessibility and security compliance
  • Ability to write comprehensive unit tests.
  • Familiarity with Airbnb’s JavaScript style guide.
  • Experience with CSS and front-end technologies.
  • Experience with JIRA, Git, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Expressjs and NestJs
  • Knowledge of German is a plus but not required.
