Senior Full-Stack Developer

We’re Spicy Minds, a fast-paced, mission-driven startup developing solutions to improve mental health for GenZ consumers and their families, particularly those with neurodivergence. We’re seeking a skilled engineer to help us take our proof-of-concept apps to the next level.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience: 5+ years in software development, with a focus on mobile app development.

• Technical Skills:

• • Fluent in Flutter, Python, Firebase & Node.js or the ability to transfer skills and learn quickly
• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities,
• Soft Skills: Team management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a start up environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Right to work in UK
• At least 2 days a week in the Bristol office with the team.
• Clean DBS check

• Develop, optimize, and maintain full-stack mobile applications, server-side logic and databases
• Manage CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and fellow developers to ensure high-quality and user-centric applications.
• Write efficient, maintainable code and follow best practices in code structure, security, and performance.
• Lead troubleshooting, debugging, and ongoing support for mobile applications, ensuring optimal performance.
• Contribute to decisions on the tech roadmap, architecture, platforms, tools, team structure, and best practice methodologies aligned with business goals.
