Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Senior Full-stack Django Developer on our Product Team, you’ll lead our frontend modernization efforts while maintaining backend excellence and shipping product features. You’ll report to the VP of Engineering and work closely with the Product Team Lead to shape the future of our platform.
Your impact will span from driving our lightweight JavaScript (Alpine) to React migration to architecting scalable Django solutions. You’ll work on significant product features that directly affect the security of the open-source ecosystem.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of our React migration strategy
  • Build and maintain scalable Django applications using modern best practices
  • Drive technical decisions around state management and Django/React integration
  • Develop RESTful APIs and Django views that enable seamless frontend-backend communication
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver impactful solutions
  • Champion iterative development approaches that balance quick wins with sustainable architecture
