WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Detection Engineering organization is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our new Detection Operations team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies and a passion for creating robust, scalable, and efficient applications.
This team is responsible for cloud automation and orchestration for SentinelOne detection engine and content delivery services. This role is a rare opportunity to join a new engineering team and contribute to team culture, architecture, design and delivery of new greenfield systems.

WHAT EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE SHOULD YOU BRING?

  • Proven experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with a strong portfolio of web applications
  • Proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
  • Experience with backend technologies with languages such as Golang or Python or Java
  • Understanding user requirements and leading the solution delivery, along with attention to details
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills

IT’D BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH / OR YOU’D LEARN & GAIN ON OUR TEAM:

  • Experience with data visualization
  • Communication and organization in large, distributed teams
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD
  • Experience with security products, especially detection systems and/or machine learning

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to creating new UI to the team’s services, as well as improving existing interfaces.
  • You will help us build the next-generation scalable web application using modern technologies (approx 70-80% FE in React, TypeScript; approx 20-30% BE in Java/Go, Spring ecosystem, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka, AWS&GCP etc.)
  • Design for scalability, security, and reliability across a globally distributed computing environment
  • You will drive design decisions to improve the product architecture and ensure the team’s adherence to engineering best practices.
  • You will help identify areas for proactive improvement based on team findings.
  • You will be involved in the whole SW development process - from product discovery, through designing architecture, implementation and testing to delivery to production and subsequent monitoring.
