For this role, you should be located in Montreal.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Creating and extending functionality of our products by contributing to our microservice-based platform
  • Developing clean and highly maintainable code
  • Mentor and guide other developers, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and improvement within your team.
  • Extending our continuous integration / continuous deployment environment
  • Working as part of a team to deliver product features and functionality
  • Work with our Product Managers, Designer Managers and Principal developers
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, design patterns, and best practices within the team.

What you’ll be bringing to the team

  • Strong foundation in computer science principles and practices.
  • Extensive experience in TypeScript and JavaScript, with a focus on the React framework.
  • Advanced proficiency in Golang for backend development.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving production issues, incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Familiarity with real-time messaging technologies, including Pub/Sub and Kafka.
  • Competent in both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database systems.
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies, with a proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative, iterative development environment.
