Description:

COMPETENCIES / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

  • Several years of industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of .NET (.net core 8.0, .net framework 8.0)
  • Proficient in C# and JavaScript with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DataBricks and other cloud-based database systems
  • Proficient in Angular and Front-end development technology
  • Proficient in cloud-based services with AWS such as Lambda, Cloud Formation, Step Functions and S3

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity to build your career in software engineering and development whilst working with data related to some of the biggest artists and tours in the world.
You’ll play a pivotal role in the development of a data transformation and reporting project, producing robust software solutions across multiple European countries to support multi-disciplinary teams in business decision-making within the largest global concert promoter.
In this role, you will be expected to deliver reliable and maintainable applications and support any current Applications to the appropriate standards and proactively review and implement a program of constant improvements to maintain industry standards, and up-to-date technology and methodologies. You will also provide business analysis input into the design, development and implementation of systems, automation, and tooling for software engineering teams to achieve their goals.
You will work closely with the IT Cloud team and the database team to develop the Application and deployment pipelines in AWS and work closely with the SQL Admin to maintain and streamline database processes and reporting services.

WHAT THE ROLE INCLUDES

  • Transform Live Nation’s EMEA ticketing operations by building, developing, and maintaining centralised, automated reporting systems.
  • Work as part of a Software Engineering team.
  • Work closely with the EMEA Ticketing team to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Create reliable and maintainable code and Applications to appropriate standards.
  • Support the current business software applications.
  • Provide analysis input into the design, development and implementation of systems, Applications, and tooling for the software engineering team to achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with peers in the Cloud team to implement solutions that are scalable, secure and easily maintained.
  • Work alongside other Business Analyst teams within the company to ensure all aspects of reporting connectivity.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Maintain software standards and provide guidance to your team on appropriate software standards.
  • Integrate data storage solutions.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
  • Document code to support system maintenance.
