Description:
Management Resources is seeking a Fund Accountant for a 12-month project located in Fort Worth. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting and financial tasks, such as processing capital calls and distributions, preparing quarterly tax estimates, and conducting internal rate of return calculations. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Only those with experience in Investran will be contacted.
Responsibilities for the Senior Fund Accountant with INVESTRAN experience:
- Handle the processing and recording of capital calls and distributions efficiently.
- Prepare and finalize quarterly tax estimates.
- Conduct internal rate of return (IRR) calculations to assess the profitability of investments.
- Collaborate efficiently with treasury, accounting, and legal teams.
- Utilize accounting software systems and Bloomberg terminal for financial operations.
- Perform regular auditing to ensure accuracy in financial documents and procedures.
- Participate in budget processes and capital management activities.
- Monitor and record cash activities related to the private equity fund.
- Manage ‘waterfall’ structures in private equity, ensuring the correct division of profits.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of accounting functions and regularly update skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Relevant professional certifications, such as CPA, are a plus.
- Experience in Investran is a MUST
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
- Auditing skills and experience
- Knowledge in Capital Management
- Experience in Private Equity Fund
- Understanding of Waterfall accounting model
