Description:
Overview:
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Senior GL Accountant for the Czech legal entity with a strong understanding of local/US GAAP and financial reporting standards. Dedicated to maintaining accurate general ledger accounts, reconciling financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts accurately.
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Performing month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conducting variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Performing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
- Supporting external and internal audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Staying updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- More than 5 years of experience within the GL department
- Experience with leading of audit for the Czech legal entity
- Big4 experience will be a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel.
- Experience with MS D365 will be a plus.
- Advanced English level B2/C1
- Other European languages will be a strong advantage
- Experience in process transitions
