We have an immediate opportunity for a Process Technician to join us at our diverse team. The Process Technician will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell from set-up to testing.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Minimum of an AA degree or equivalent from Technical School and 6 months related experience on Danfoss products
  • Desire for 4-year degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mfg. Engineering or ME/AgE
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone)
  • Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques
  • Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits
  • Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Monitors & trouble shoots electrical & mechanical equipment used in the assembly process to build hydrostatic pumps, motors and components
  • Provide line support for the assembly cell and is the next level of escalation after the cell expert for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality
  • Assist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem solving on the shop floor
  • Assists in the prove-out of new processes and process changes by gathering data, making observations about the process, and communicating ideas to improve results
  • Works closely with the Process Engineer
