PepsiCo’s Global Agriculture Office (GAO) is seeking a strategic and innovative Global Agriculture Services Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of agriculture for our farmers and business partners. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Agriculture Implementation, this role will focus on driving key initiatives that support high-quality variety adoption, technological innovation, and growth of our global brands.
Responsibilities:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A degree in agricultural sciences; a Master’s or higher is preferred.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in agriculture or related fields.
- Proven ability to develop, influence, and lead external partnerships and collaborations.
- Extensive project management experience with the ability to handle multiple complex projects across regions.
- Proficient in utilizing digital platforms and data tools to support agriculture objectives.
- Experience in supply chain finance, commercial procurement, and decision/precision agriculture tools.
- Knowledge of regenerative, climate-smart, and water-smart agriculture practices.
EXPERT SKILLS:
- Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
- High cultural awareness to recognize and adapt to diverse cultures for maximum impact.
- Expertise in digital information management and external collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Accelerate Agricultural Solutions: Lead the adoption and scaling of global agriculture solutions and productivity initiatives, including seed planning, variety optimization, best practice development, and logistics optimization.
- Regional Oversight: Oversee regional activities for the GAO Productivity Council, ensuring business units achieve their objectives.
- Partnership Development: Utilize your extensive network to establish and manage partnerships, drive innovation, and secure investments that align with PepsiCo’s agriculture strategy.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with regional agriculture teams and other PepsiCo functions to harmonize operating plans and implement uniform standards, best practices, and technologies.
- Liaison Role: Act as the key liaison between regional and business unit agronomy teams and global resources, coordinating with various departments to execute global initiatives.
- Drive Innovation: Develop transformational solutions to address business challenges, creating value for PepsiCo and its growers
