Description:

JOIN OUR GLOBAL COMPENSATION, BENEFITS, AND MOBILITY TEAM IN LYNGBY

To support COWI’s global growth and ensure seamless talent movement across borders, we are looking for a Senior Global Mobility Specialist to join our team. We are an engaged team of 11 professionals based in Lyngby, India, the UK, and Canada working alongside our internal customers across COWI. We are proud to provide comprehensive solutions to the business, including employment-related legal advisory, tax advisory, and global mobility services. COWI’s Mobility team oversees the entire process of moving talent across business lines and geographies. We advise internal customers across the COWI group on all aspects of global mobility, including assignment contracts, cost estimates, local contracts, salary, benefits, mobility policies, international law, tax, social security, and more.
You will be responsible for managing both the big picture and the small details, advising on mobility cases, and working closely with employees “on the move.” Additionally, you will act as a consultant to HR and other departments, supporting employee transfer opportunities across the organization.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Global mobility-related advisory, including salary calculations and cost estimates
  • Providing legal advice on international employment law, including drafting assignment contracts
  • Managing mobility cases proactively, including consultations, vendor coordination, cost estimations, and data management
  • Partnering with selected service providers to improve service levels; hence understanding the link to policy design and adjacent areas, e.g., relocation, tax, and immigration
  • Ensuring company compliance with all applicable governmental regulations and guidelines.

YOUR SKILLS. OUR TEAM. TOGETHER WE DESIGN THE FUTURE.

The first step to success in this role is you be eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • A relevant master’s degree, preferably in finance, law, or HR
  • Extensive experience as a Global Mobility Consultant or Specialist in a large company
  • Advanced expertise in mobility, including providing advice on complex cases and applying legal knowledge from day one
  • Comprehensive stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to advise staff at all levels
  • Sharp analytical abilities, with a focus on numbers and cost estimations
  • Experience with expatriations to Canada and the US will be considered a beneficial asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Global mobility-related advisory, including salary calculations and cost estimates
  • Providing legal advice on international employment law, including drafting assignment contracts
  • Managing mobility cases proactively, including consultations, vendor coordination, cost estimations, and data management
  • Partnering with selected service providers to improve service levels; hence understanding the link to policy design and adjacent areas, e.g., relocation, tax, and immigration
  • Ensuring company compliance with all applicable governmental regulations and guidelines
