This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Tools and collaborates closely with the Security, Corporate Communications, HR, and Marketing teams to enhance the employee experience with Gsuite, focusing on spam filtering (productivity), email delivery, and routing. As a key contributor to Wayfair’s overall email architecture, this position ensures high availability, seamless system integrations, and ongoing operational maintenance for all employees. This hands-on technical role is vital in designing and implementing automated processes, as well as establishing scalable policies and standards..

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee email routing, delivery, and security (spam filtering, phishing protection).
  • Oversee Google Drive (storage), Docs, Sheets, and remaining gsuite tools
  • Monitor mail flow and troubleshoot any issues related to email delivery or routing.
  • Manage email retention policies and compliance rules.
  • Configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to ensure email authentication and protection against spoofing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Corporate Communications, to define business requirements and address key challenges.
  • Monitor new product releases and seek ways to enhance continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Actively participate in resolving high-priority outages, troubleshooting efforts, and capacity/availability planning sessions.
  • Implement best practice policies and procedures for onboarding, scaling, security, backups and disaster recovery, for all services.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
  • Support the acquisition of new tools, from requirements gathering, selection and testing, to purchase and deployment with rollout planning and integration with existing tools.
  • Configure, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain SaaS tools for customer use; and train end-users to ensure effective use of those tools
  • Assist with contract renewals, ensuring timely negotiations and alignment with business needs.
