POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Contract Administrator to join our Government Solutions Legal team. As a Contract Administrator, you will support a team of Contract Managers who are responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our company’s contracts and agreements. Your role will be essential in helping to ensure contracts are properly executed, monitored, and fulfilled, while also mitigating risks and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. During the Contract Life Cycle, the Contracts Administrator will provide support of Global Contracts Managers in the areas of Contracts Management, Contract Artifact Management and General Administrative and Data Management by performing the essential responsibilities listed below.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years Contracting or paralegal experience
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role
- Basic understanding of contract management principles and best practices
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex legal documents
- Proficiency in Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel; proficiency in contract management software and tools a plus
- Possess basic business acumen and ability to appropriately apply
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally (spoken) with both internal and external stakeholders or customers
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentials for serving as a Notary Public for the department
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting contract research and drafting related memoranda
- Drafting contract amendments, variations, notices to proceed (NTP) change orders, etc.
- Drafting, editing, and managing retention of written correspondence
- Preparing Contract Compliance Documents (CCDs) preparation and assigning subject matter experts
- Creating, submitting, and tracking of Voting Surveys for Global Conflict of Interest/ and Employee Due Diligence (determined by the Contract requirement)
- Coordinating Signature/approval cycles
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination on contractual matters
- Maintaining and managing data for the Contracts Management System (CMS) by inputting data and running reports as required
- Preparing and Consolidating PMO Hand-off artifacts
- Providing meeting coordination and support by setting up meetings, creating appropriate level of detail agendas and tracking attendance
- Providing Internal/External Audit support as required
- Processing Contract renewal reports (linked to NTPs)
- Other duties as assigned
