INTRODUCTION

AfriGIS is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our dedicated team. This position requires producing design solutions for AfriGIS (internal and external) with high visual impact.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree (or related) in graphic design
• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience
• Proven experience in both digital and print design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proficient in Microsoft Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design
• Experience with video editing software and motion graphics is a plus

• Maintain and evolve the Company’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.
• Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure cohesive visual communication.
• Design Sales and Marketing material such as Brochures, User Manuals, Templates and PowerPoint Presentations
• Create engaging digital assets for web, social media, and email marketing campaigns
• Design and oversee the production of print materials, including posters, brochures, user manuals, and promotional items
• Ensure high-quality print production standards are met
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
• Work closely with the marketing team and other business units to understand requirements and objectives
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present design concepts and receive feedback
• Work on multiple briefs at the same time
