Description:
Introduction
AfriGIS is looking for a senior graphic designer to join our dedicated team. This position requires producing design solutions for AfriGIS (internal and external) with high visual impact.

Minimum requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (or related) in graphic design
Five-plus years of professional graphic design experience
Proven experience in both digital and print design
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Proficient in Microsoft Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design
Experience with video editing software and motion graphics is a plus
Roles and responsibilities
Maintain and evolve the company’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.
Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure cohesive visual communication.
Design Sales and Marketing material such as Brochures, User Manuals, Templates and PowerPoint Presentations
Create engaging digital assets for web, social media, and email marketing campaigns
Design and oversee the production of print materials, including posters, brochures, user manuals, and promotional items
Ensure high-quality print production standards are met
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications
Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
Work closely with the marketing team and other business units to understand requirements and objectives
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present design concepts and receive feedback
Work on multiple briefs at the same time
