Description:

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of design principles, typography, and best practices in digital media, print, and web content.
  • Experience developing, designing, and producing quality digital assets and creative concepts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of print production standards and techniques to produce creative work.
  • Ensure design standards and create templates for corporate communication and consistent use and application of the company’s brand(s).
  • Coordinate and maintain a library of graphics, media, digital records, and other company content.
  • Experience and knowledge of AODA standards and French Language Laws applied to digital and print formats.

COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

  • Excellent oral and written communication, copywriting, and editing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to build collaborative relationships across a broad spectrum of teams, both internal and external.
  • Tact and diplomacy to deal with urgent / highly time-sensitive matters.

RESEARCH, ANALYTICAL, AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS:

  • Ability to determine opportunities and solutions for creative services in meeting marketing objectives or resolving problems.
  • Evaluate and interpret information and analyze complex design challenges into executable tasks.
  • Ability to interpret needs and data, invent and develop creative design solutions.
  • Solid understanding and experience applying corporate brand guidelines in a creative and consistent manner.
  • Confidence in designing and producing various company marketing materials, advertisements, newsletters, presentations, signage, forms, tradeshow booths, and materials.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING SKILLS:

  • You have organization skills to manage priorities within tight timelines.
  • You are flexible, with the ability to work independently.
  • You have the time management and planning skills to handle multiple competing projects concurrently and operate in a fast-paced work environment that requires re-sequencing on an ongoing basis.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can organize several simultaneous projects with competing priorities.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a B2B marketing environment
  • University / College degree or equivalent in graphic and web design
  • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
  • Video editing or Canva experience is an asset
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM is an asset
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to anticipate potential issues, keen attention to detail, and superior organizational skills.
  • Analytical acumen with demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

We seek an innovative and creative Senior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. This hybrid role requires weekly attendance in the office for meetings, team events, and other occasions.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Senior Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in creating visually compelling graphics that align with our B2B marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual composition, excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle constructive criticism effectively.
This position will touch all forms of design, print, digital, animation, video, and other content creation to develop creative assets and support campaigns that positively impact ICC’s overall success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop, design, and produce quality digital assets and creative concepts supporting marketing strategies.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our target audience and market trends to create designs that resonate with our customers and drive engagement.
  • Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery.
  • Develop and maintain promotional and sales materials for internal and external purposes.
  • Maintain ICC’s catalog of regulatory publications, posters, and training courses.
  • Develop and maintain ICC’s document templates for internal and external purposes.
  • Maintain and create product images, including some photography.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure the successful execution of design projects, including print production and website development.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time.
  • Work on special projects and other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
