Description:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • BA (Hons) in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe CS – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Ability to learn new CMS quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent core graphic design, typography, layout and digital standards.
  • 3+ years’ experience in design (preferably within fashion, lifestyle or cosmetics).
  • Good knowledge of customer user experience within shopping on Desktop, Mobile, Tablet and Apps.
  • Drive & implement new ideas within the team.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Leadership skills.
  • An energy and enthusiasm to want sole responsibility on projects.
  • Interest in Fashion.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills cross functionally.
  • A strong work ethic and innovative approach to all tasks.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team and use own initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure and work across multiple projects.
  • Confident working on UK and international tasks such as emails and homepages and able to communicate with translators effectively.

  • Has a good understanding of Store & Packaging design, including how to set artwork up for print.

Responsibilities:

WHAT IS THE ROLE

You will be involved in the design, update & upkeep of our websites. As well as online and offline marketing design including customer campaign emails, social media posts, app design, store artwork and packaging. You will be expected to deliver your tasks whilst inspiring & collaborating with other designers and other departments to ensure the quality and consistency of your work meets brand guidelines.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to work face to face and through email. You’ll have a meticulous eye for detail, and a keen understanding of our target audience for each of our brands. With a strong work ethic and the ability to deliver a balanced workload to achieve targets and deadlines, you’ll be a welcome team player, in a fast-paced working environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Have a clear understanding of each customer and how we design for each brand.
  • Follow Marketing briefs assigned by Graphic Design Manager. Following any instructions given and take on feedback to hone skills and improve design.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, prioritising workload whilst working on multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
  • Learn a variety of systems quickly and effectively. We use a variety of platforms for uploading our designs, including ones for managing the website, app, and marketing emails.
  • Create high quality designs for all brands with minimal amends given whilst working at speed.
  • Complete urgent tasks given by design management confidently.
  • Produce creative designs for each brand and use animated GIFs / videos.
  • Help organise workload when needed.
  • Be confident attending meetings if the Design Manager is unavailable.
  • Have an overall understanding of projects happening within the wider design team.
  • Work on bigger design projects briefed in by senior members of other departments, such as website mock ups and billboards.
  • Jump on any task without hesitation.
  • Help other departments with any design issues.
  • Be able to raise problems and spot errors on any task.
  • Work well within a team and individually.
