SENIOR HEALTH & SAFETY CONSULTANT
Location: Midlands to London (with occasional travel and overnight stays)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience in health and safety consultancy, with a proven track record of delivering effective solutions across multiple sectors.
- Essential experience with Construction, CDM Regulations, and Principal Designer roles.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide clear, practical advice.
- Willingness to travel primarily between the Midlands and London, with occasional overnight stays as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
An industry-leading Health & Safety consultancy is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role involves delivering accurate, relevant, and pragmatic health and safety advice to a diverse client base across sectors such as education, healthcare, construction, retail, and aviation. A key requirement for this role is experience in Construction, CDM (Construction Design and Management Regulations), and Principal Designer responsibilities. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying and addressing health and safety challenges, ensuring that clients meet legal requirements and maintain best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert health and safety consultancy services to clients across various sectors, including education, healthcare, construction, retail, and aviation.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, audits, and inspections, delivering actionable reports with practical recommendations.
- Develop and implement tailored health and safety management systems, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Ensure clients meet Construction, Design and Management (CDM) regulations, and fulfil Principal Designer duties when required.
- Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to client staff, enhancing their understanding and application of health and safety practices.
- Advise on accident investigations and incident reporting, helping clients to minimise risks and prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practices, ensuring clients receive current and effective advice.
- Travel throughout the Midlands down into London to client sites, with occasional overnight stays required.
