Job Name: Senior Hardware Design Engineer
ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
We are now looking for a Hardware Design Engineer for an onsite project in Sweden.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Own the electronic components in a new medical device development project.
- Identify and evaluate alternative design solutions, including component selection, prototyping and testing.
- Develop and own the technical documentation for the electronics in a medical device such as:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- More than 5 years of experience in embedded systems electronics
- Experience from medical device industry
- Proven knowledge in IEC 60601
- Hands on experience of technical documentation for medical electronic equipment
- Experience from certification of medical electronic equipment
- Proven track record of electronics design including analogue and digital circuits
- Knowledge of design for manufacturability, production test and preferably experience of working with contract manufacturing
- Experience of battery-operated devices
- Academic background in engineering (bachelor’s or master’s degree) preferably within the field of electronics

Responsibilities:
Strengthen a medical device development project, as well as owning the electronics of a product on the market. Act as Hardware Engineer and be an integral part of a tight team responsible for the hardware and embedded system of the products.
Cooperate with other electronics engineers, system engineers, software developers and testers to ensure a stable, safe and efficient product.
