We are currently recruiting for Senior Healthcare Assistants in the North Dublin, Meath and Louth regions.
Employer:
Moorehall Living Nursing Homes (Part of the Virtue Integrated Elder Care Group)
Locations:
1. Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan, Balbriggan, Co Dublin
2. Moorehall Lodge, Drogheda, Drogheda, Co Meath.
3. Moorehall Lodge Ardee, Ardee, Co Louth.
Contract Type:
Permanent, full-time - 39 hours per week.
Salary/Pay:
€27,000 per annum

Duties Include:

  • Contribute to and enhance the quality of resident activities and events.
  • To supervise and assist with the training and development of care assistants and appraise staff as requested.
  • By liaising with the Unit PIC and CNM ensure that adequate arrangements are made for the reception of new residents, and that they are made to feel welcome and secure.
  • Ensure highest quality care is delivered by Healthcare Assistants to assigned residents.
  • Participate in assigned and delegated tasks involving direct care and all activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of your line manager e.g., washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, dining, social activities, conversation, communication support and all other aspects of daily living
  • Support the nursing staff in the organising of day-to-day allocation of work.

Requirements:

  • QQI Level 5 Award - Healthcare or equivalent
  • Excellent track record as a high performing Healthcare worker
  • Elder care experience. (2 years + experience)
  • Ability to motivate, supervise and inspire colleague
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent personal care abilities

OR
Nursing Degree / Allied Health Degree / Relevant Healthcare Degre
