Description:

Your Role

  • Work closely with and support product management and R&D product teams to define interoperability requirements for their products that are relevant for their customers to improve marketability of Carl Zeiss Meditec (CZM) products
  • Provide knowledge about interoperability readiness of CZM products to the Healthcare Interoperability team to identify synergies between different product groups and enhance the overall interoperability of CZM products
  • Consult product management and R&D product teams on the subject “healthcare interoperability” to support them throughout the development process, when designing, implementing and testing their products
  • Represent CZM in national and international standardization committees and participate in developing healthcare interoperability standards to ensure that CZM interests are taken into consideration when standards are developed
  • Provide knowledge about the status of standardization to the product teams to make sure that the current healthcare interoperability standards can be properly implemented in CZM products
  • Hold presentations and training sessions within CZM to share knowledge and promote awareness of healthcare interoperability throughout the company
  • Define internal CZM specifications related to interoperability, e.g. data formats or communication protocols, to increase interoperability of CZM internal components, e.g. AI algorithms

Your Profile

  • Solid knowledge and hand-on experience in the area of healthcare interoperability standards, such as HL7 FHIR, DICOM, HL7v2
  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability aspects and market requirements
  • General problem solving skills
  • Preferably practical programming experience
  • Preferably experience in working with standardization bodies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent English and preferably German language skills
