Description:

Legacy Strategies is seeking a Senior HR Advisor on behalf of our client in the education sector. This role involves delivering high-quality HR advice and support to schools and academies. The Senior HR Advisor will play a key role in supporting the development of the Schools HR function, aligning with the organisation’s vision and values, and identifying business opportunities with both new and existing clients. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with on-site presence required for urgent HR matters.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Relevant HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or higher) or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in providing HR advisory services within an educational setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and school-specific policies.
  • Ability to participate in safeguarding meetings related to allegations against school staff, providing HR advice to ensure the protection and welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, high-quality HR advice and support on a broad range of HR matters to schools, academies, and external clients.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Schools HR function in line with the organisation’s vision and values. Identify and pursue business development opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Build and maintain collaborative, productive relationships with clients, offering reliable, solution-oriented guidance while upholding the highest standards of customer service and professional integrity.
  • Act as the liaison officer for school-based staff, ensuring effective communication and support across the organisation
  • Provide high-quality, business-focused HR advisory services on operational issues that support performance improvement and align with the school’s objectives, strategy, vision, and values.
