Description:

THIS IS A 12MONTH FTC (MAT COVER) STARTING JANUARY 2025

At Unlimited we offer Hybrid working, which for us is a blend of working remotely and in the office; this role is based in Bristol with regular travel to London. It’s all about choosing the best place to be for you, your team, your manager and the business on any given working day…

WHO WILL YOU BE?

  • Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor role, whether in a standalone capacity or as part of a larger team, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Ideally, you will possess a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or higher) and have strong expertise in key employment processes, with the ability to manage them end-to-end while seeking assistance from the HR Business Partner as necessary.
  • You should be curious and open-minded, a decisive thinker capable of evaluating opportunities from various perspectives, quickly analysing information, and using it to provide recommendations.
  • Confident and credible, you will apply your judgment effectively and adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build professional relationships within the business.
  • You’ll be an attentive listener, demonstrating emotional intelligence in all interactions to earn the respect and trust of others.
  • Courageous with the confidence to speak up skilfully, challenging others even when confronted with resistance or unfamiliar circumstances
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the capability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
  • You’ll have commercial and business acumen; you’ll understand the people challenges in our industry and the organisation as a whole.
  • Strong administrative skills are crucial, with proficiency in all MS Office applications (PPT, Excel, Word, etc.) and a high level of confidence in using HR systems.
  • A proactive mindset is essential—willing to roll up your sleeves and engage fully to accomplish tasks, no matter what it takes.
  • As a collaborative team player, you will work closely with the HR Business Partners while also being ready to lead projects and coordinate with the broader HR and Recruitment team across Unlimited.
  • Flexibility is key, as no two days are the same in our world; adaptability to changing situations is necessary.

Responsibilities:

As part of the HR team, you will be working closely with a dedicated HR Business Partner and supported by the wider team. This is a generalist role, providing technical as well as practical advice and guidance supporting line managers and employees across the employee life cycle.
You will provide sound technical and practical advice to line managers and employees on all aspects of people management and the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
This is a full and busy generalist role, your work will be varied, from performance management, succession planning and employee engagement through to employee relations.
We’re looking for you to be an experienced Senior HR Advisor, CIPD 5+, approachable, personable, flexible and used to working in a fast paced, every changing environment.
This is a really exciting time in the team with a huge opportunity to further your experience with a supportive team.
