SENIOR HR BUSINESS PARTNER - GLOBAL COMMERCIAL ORG
Hybrid - Co. Galway
Role Overview: As a Senior HR Business Partner responsible for our Global commercial organization, you will be a strategic partner to senior leadership, driving HR initiatives that align with the organization’s global business objectives. You will play a key role in shaping the people strategy for the global commercial teams. Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, you will be joining a dedicated and cohesive HR team committed to delivering value-added services that support the achievement of business goals in diverse markets.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Significant experience working in a global HR role, ideally within a multinational environment, with responsibility for multiple regions or countries.
- Experience supporting global sales, marketing and services functions, with a deep understanding of the unique HR challenges and opportunities within these organization.
- Proven track record of leading and developing HR teams across multiple regions, with experience in cross-training and building functional subject matter experts.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required. A master’s degree or an MBA is often preferred.
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, or CIPD are advantageous, especially those with a global focus.
- Demonstrated ability to align HR strategies with business goals, particularly in driving performance and growth in a global sales organization.
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments where the ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs and market conditions is crucial.
- Technological Proficiency & Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and other digital tools that facilitate global HR operations.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnership: Formulates strategic HR partnerships across the global commercial organization to deliver value-added services that reflect the business objectives and cultural nuances of each region. Collaborates closely with senior management to influence global business strategies.
- Business Acumen: Participate in regular, insightful meetings with global commercial leaders, maintaining a deep understanding of the organization’s financial performance, strategic objectives, market positioning, and competitive landscape across different regions.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze global HR trends, metrics, and relevant data in collaboration with regional HR teams. Develops and implements people-centric solutions, programs, and policies tailored to the unique needs of the global sales function.
- Leadership Development: Leads, mentors, and cross-trains HR team members and direct reports to build a global team of functional subject matter experts. Ensures the team is equipped to support complex, results-driven business goals in a dynamic global sales environment.
- Global Influence: Works with and influences leaders at all levels, from regional managers to senior executives, providing strategic guidance on global HR issues, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- Proactive Communication: Communicates proactively within the global HR team and with commercial management to develop integrated, region-specific HR solutions that address complex organizational challenges and drive business success.
- End-to-End People Strategy: Participates in the creation and execution of comprehensive, end-to-end people strategies that empower all sales staff globally to achieve their professional goals and contribute to the organization’s success.
- Employee Relations: Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues across multiple regions. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations, and provides coaching and guidance to management to ensure positive outcomes in a global context.
- Legal and Compliance Expertise: Maintains an in-depth knowledge of international legal requirements related to the management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with global and regional legal departments as needed.
