Job Description
The Senior HR Business Partner – Go-To-Market (GTM) provides support in all areas of human resources including: Talent Management, Team member Relations and Engagement, Development, Total Rewards, and HR Operations. This role collaborates with Assent’s GTM teams (Marketing, Sales and RevOps) teams and Leadership to influence and execute on global strategies, programs and initiatives that attract, retain, and engage Assentees and scale the business for continued global success.

  • 10+ years of relevant HR experience, with at least 8+ years as a Business Partner supporting Senior Executive and/or C-level leaders, preferably in a rapidly growing global tech organization.
  • Recent experience supporting GTM divisions.
  • Experience working with commission plans is desireable.
  • Bachelor’s degree/Post Secondary Education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A CHRP or CHRL certification would be considered an asset.
  • Experience identifying and building strategic cross-functional partnerships across all levels of the business to understand challenges.
  • Passion for high quality service to the business and delivering exceptional support.
  • Analytically driven with experience working with people and business metrics to guide decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a focus on innovation and learning.
  • Persistent and patient, with the propensity to stay calm and reasonable under pressure.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic people and business advisor providing advice/guidance to leaders and recommending innovative solutions, customized to meet business needs;
  • Provide ongoing coaching, support and insight that enables informed decision-making, aligns with organizational values, and contributes to maximum retention, engagement and productivity;
  • Increase impact and effectiveness of our business growth by developing stronger partnerships with leaders, using your gained Assent business knowledge and general business concepts to understand their business objectives and develop people strategies;
  • Support leaders with evolving their organizational structure, roles , career paths and objectives to maximize the execution of their business plan;
  • Make recommendations in all areas of HR that enhance team and Assentee success based on market trends, industry best practices, business knowledge, as well as compliance with security controls, company policies and relevant legislation;
  • Work collaboratively across Human Resources: specifically Talent Acquisition - to ensure timely delivery of recruitment and selection of top talent and Talent Acceleration - to execute on talent development and impact programs;
  • Help enhance internal communication and cohesion within and between teams while ensuring a collaborative, engaging and high-performance environment;
  • Support a culture of continuous feedback and learning by actively participating in and supporting performance feedback programs, Assentee onboarding, training and development;
  • Provide HR insights to help create & drive talent development strategic priorities in assigned client groups, including workforce planning and talent acquisition and leader and employee development;
  • Evaluate talent trends and team member feedback pulse surveys and open dialogue sessions to develop recommendations for improving engagement, productivity, and retention;
