We are looking for a Senior HR professional with a strong background in government HR, employee relations, and strategic workforce management. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven Experience: Extensive experience in HR management, including a strong understanding of government HR frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders and influence key decisions.
- Employee Relations Expertise: In-depth knowledge of employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.
- Change Management: Experience leading change initiatives and driving organizational transformation.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, business, or related fields. Post-graduate qualifications in HR or Industrial Relations are highly regarded.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to provide high-level HR support and strategic advice to our leadership team. In this role, you will partner with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals, enhance employee engagement, and support workforce development. You will also take the lead on complex HR matters, including performance management, change management, and workforce planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes in line with government policies and legislation.
- Workforce Planning & Development: Lead workforce planning initiatives, including talent management, succession planning, and employee development programs.
- Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives, providing HR expertise to drive smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
- Performance & Engagement: Lead efforts to enhance employee performance, engagement, and retention through tailored HR initiatives.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure that HR policies and practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, advising on legislative changes and their impact on the organization.
- Coaching & Mentoring: Coach and mentor managers and leaders to develop their HR capabilities and drive a positive, high-performance culture.
