Description:
The Senior HR Business Partner is a new role partnering with the North American General Manager, working closely with senior leaders and supporting the daily needs of our small US team. You’ll help deliver Gymshark’s business strategy through supporting the ambitious North American growth plans across retail, wholesale, events and digital channels.
This is a high-impact generalist role requiring the provision of strategic input alongside tactical delivery and would suit an experienced HR Partner looking to work in a fast paced, multi-faceted role. Our plans are big and there is a lot to do so you’ll need to be comfortable with quick decisions and changing priorities whilst working to achieve business outcomes.
The most senior HR role in the Gymshark North America, you’ll be part of a Global People team, based 3+ days a week from our new Lower Manhattan office (Greene Street) but working collaboratively with UK-based colleagues daily.
Responsibilities:
- Ambassadorship of culture: leading by example, demonstrating the Gymshark values, and setting the standard, and what that means in North America
- Development and delivery of pragmatic solutions to help drive the functional business plans in a commercially viable way
- Supporting retail store expansion plans across North America regarding HR policies and processes to onboard new teams
- Ensuring all employee relations issues are handled in line with legislation, and that process and procedures are updated with legislative changes and expansion into new states
- Prioritization of the safety and well-being of our employees and diversity, inclusion and equity in all aspects
- Provision of expert advice and support to line managers on all HR / People related issues
- Senior, strategic partnering capability with hands-on HR process management and People support where needed
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Working within a Global team, contributing to People strategic agenda and projects as required
