REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in human resources management or have demonstrated equivalent experience. You will bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
We are seeking an experienced HR professional with expertise in providing advisory and consultancy services, particularly in interpreting and applying legislative and policy frameworks. You will have a high level of awareness regarding potential HR issues and the expertise to manage and resolve them efficiently.
The ideal candidate will display tact, diplomacy, and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential matters. You will be skilled in developing trusted business relationships and influencing key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
Strong organisational skills are essential, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and handle high workloads. A commitment to revisiting work to meet high-quality standards is also highly valued.

Responsibilities:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior HR Business Partner to play a pivotal role supporting the Commission to achieve its statutory functions.
Reporting to the Manager Business Services, the Senior HR Business Partner provides expert advice and consultancy on a wide range of human resources matters including employee relations and performance management and development.
The Senior HR Business partner will provide specialist expertise and workforce analysis to managers on human resources related workforce planning, workforce programs, organisational reviews, restructures, and change management.
To make a success of this role, the Senior HR Business Partner will provide expertise and advice to support end to end recruitment and selections services and proactively review and maintain the Commission’s human resources policies.
