Description:

Hansen’s Group of Companies is a proud Canadian company with over 40 years in the business of Automotive Transportation, Warehousing, and Facility Management. We are currently hiring for a Senior HR Generalist (1 year contract) to join our team based at Head Office in Scarbrough, Ontario.

The Senior Human Resources Generalist, reporting to the Director, Human Resources for Canada and USA, shall maintain an effective level of work ethics, professionalism, and commitment. This position coordinates a high volume of information, working with various programs and providing support to employees across the group of companies.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other relevant applications.
  • Ability to create quality documentation and communications.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Ability to abide by Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Confidentiality and maintain privacy of human resources data and information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management.
  • CHRL Designation.
  • Bilingual French a valuable asset.
  • Minimum 5 years recent of relevant HR experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality documentation, relationship building and research skills.
