Description:
HR Supervisor
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Supervisor to join our manufacturing plant. The HR Supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting the plant’s HR operations, with a focus on hourly employee relations, recruiting, and other HR functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual (Spanish); strongly preferred
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or other HRIS systems is highly preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to hourly employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process for hourly positions, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct investigations and provide resolution for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to address performance management and disciplinary actions, providing guidance and coaching as needed
- Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement, training and development, and HR analytics
