Purpose of the role:
Provide high quality HR service along the HRM circle and support the adidas Italy organization as Strategic Business Partner in all relevant HR Management topics. Ensure that internal and external customers receive added value from the HR function.
Be accountable for a consistent application of all cluster, market and Group HR standards and principles.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain a close relationship with the management team of the assigned support area and contribute to the decision-making process of structuring and developing the team for the organization
  • Actively support the implementation of business initiatives and business needs with effective HR measures and promote positive employee relations in the work environment
  • Ensure that all relevant aspects of staffing, onboarding, employee relations, employee development, and compensation & benefits are aligned with Europe guidelines and policies and delivered timely and in accordance with relevant labour and commercial legislation
  • Support/drive initiatives and efficient processes, in close coordination with the HR Director and in close collaboration with all Managers in Italy
  • Manage personnel planning, annual salary rounds and promotions/salary adjustments for defined areas in accordance with company’s processes and in close cooperation with the HR Director
  • Proactively collaborate and work “hand in hand” with Rewards, Talent and Talent Acquistion functions to ensure that HR is perceived as being one team
  • Ensure high employee engagement through effective motivation, coaching, training and development of personnel in the team
  • Challenge the status quo, think outside the boxin terms of solutions; proactively seek for advice and solutions that are aligned with the HR teams of South Europe as well as Europe
  • Ensure that HR systems and employee related documents (contracts, warnings, promotion letters, etc.) are up to date on a permanent basis
  • Be responsible for a smooth employee exit process and act as legal advisor for Line Managers within the assigned support area

Skills you’ll need:

  • Mature and confident personality
  • Well-structured and organized, with solid business understanding
  • Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to influence members of the management team
  • Customer-oriented, approachable and able to build and maintainconstructive/positive working relationships with Line Managers and employees
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
  • Ability to manage change and coach Line Managers on how to mange change

  • Excellent presentation, project management and problem solving skills

Main requirements:

  • Experience of living abroad is appreciated
  • Progressive work experience in the field of HR (preferably in an international organization)
  • Coaching and Project management experience
  • Knowledge about the local labour law and regulations
  • English fluent (written and oral)
  • MS-Office skills, SAP experience
