SENIOR HR MANAGER
Bouygues Energies & Services Contracting - Manchester
The Senior HR Manager will be a key member of a small team, responsible for providing operational HR services across the company. The role involves ensuring compliance with HR legislation and case law, implementing policies and initiatives that drive high staff engagement and development.
The Senior HR Manager position requires regular interaction with line managers and department heads to support performance, staffing needs and employee relations. This is a regional role which will involve regular travel to sites.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively support line managers with performance management of their team members, including development or robust performance improvement plans.
- Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and employees on various HR matters such as equal opportunities, diversity, resourcing, recruitment, employee benefits, employee relations, absence management and disciplinary and grievance.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies across the business.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote compliance and best practice.
- Partner with Heads of Departments to confirm staffing needs across the business.
- Build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels to support HR initiatives and improvements.
- Produce accurate reports and analyse people analytics, identify trends to enable the business to make data led decisions.
- Help delivery an accurate and timely submission of all payroll related information.
- Implement and contribute to continual improvement and innovation ensuring the business is recognised for developing and delivering excellent people practices.
