Description:
Our client is an international PR and communications agency in Berlin specializing in technology companies. It offers services such as strategic communication, media relations, crisis communication, and reputation management to help tech companies build their brand and strengthen their market presence. The agency often collaborates with both startups and established companies to enhance their visibility and credibility, particularly through tailored PR campaigns.
The company has quickly established itself as a trailblazer in the industry. Despite currently being a relatively small team (around 15 members), they are making significant strides. Its organizational culture is defined by creativity, collaboration, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.
To support our client’s growth and ensure the best possible care for its employees, we are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager (m/f/d) to join their team. Permanent employment contract in Germany — a freelance contract is possible outside Germany.
Tasks
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in human resources, preferably in a leadership role (minimum 5 years).
- Extensive experience in goal management methods, particularly OKRs
- English as a native language
- Excellent German language skills, a Plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of autonomy and assertiveness.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement human resource strategies that support business objectives.
- Recruit, select, and onboard new employees to ensure the company has the right talent to succeed.
- Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage performance evaluations, employee development, and promotion processes.
- Handle conflicts and disciplinary actions by company policies and applicable labour laws.
- Ensure a positive work environment and corporate culture that promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion.
- The role is an individual contributor role
