We are looking for a Senior Manager, HR to join our Energy and Global Functions HR-team to support our Finance&Control organization globally.

What you will do
Your role is to act as strategic HR partner and trusted advisor for Finance&Control function. As a member of Finance&Control management team you will ensure a strategically aligned people agenda as well as high quality people processes in your area of responsibility.
You collaborate closely with wider UPM’s global HR community to drive People agenda and develop people practice.

You will proactively

  • Drive people agenda as a member of Finance&Control Management team
  • Support overall UPM people strategy as a member of Energy & Global Functions HR-team.
  • Apply global HR processes to support function specific needs and to manage specific talent capabilities.
  • Develop impactful strategic, people-related change and development programs across your responsibility area.
  • Lead employee and labor relations as well as safety & wellbeing topics.
  • Ensure that line management is up-to-date and informed about UPM people processes and policies.
  • Assume responsibility over selected people development projects.

Who you are

  • You have a relevant Master’s level university degree.
  • You are equipped with knowledge on both HR management and HR development.
  • You have experience in working with managers and management teams.
  • You are enthusiastic about change management, leadership development, culture and organizational development.
  • You are an engaging, solution focused, proactive and result oriented person and who can prioritize efforts to gain best possible outcome.
  • You have experience in working in a multinational environment, as well as proficient networking, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • You are a good communicator with fluency in English.
  • You are willing to travel.
