POSITION OVERVIEW – SENIOR SPECIALIST, HR OPERATIONS
We are looking for the KEY senior hands-on Human Resources person on our #1 high-tech semiconductor project in a progressive multinational company! You will be acting as THE HR face to the project employees and leadership. This job will be everything but boring – you are looking at working with talented multinational, easy-going experts and leaders in the engineering and construction business with action on both the project site and in our brand-new office location. You will be joining a project team with great interpersonal relationships, ready to integrate you as their HR peer in the project job. You will not be alone – there will be various HR teams from our US regional offices helping you in getting the job done.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business or related field or equivalent experience
- Natural talent in stakeholder management, building professional relationships and influencing stakeholders, demonstrated courage in the face of adversity
- Comfort in navigating HR-supported systems
- HR process mindset
- Basic understanding and experience with US and international tax laws/regulations and tax equalization
- Highly organized, meticulous about detail and accuracy, and get excited about process improvement
- Service mentality and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts and ideas clearly and concisely
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred: Work experience in a dynamic, medium-to-large corporate environment

Responsibilities:
- You will need to establish a good network, build trust and integrate into the project, connecting with our people on the job site and in the office.
- Understand the HR needs of the project and position yourself as the first point of support for approximately 300 of your project colleagues on all HR matters: hiring and offer package clarification, onboarding, benefits, terminations, training, demobilization, employee conduct.
- Ensure you are following up and providing a timely and accurate response or properly redirecting the inquiry, to help the employee resolve or address their need.
- You may serve as an HR SME (Subject Matter Expert) or as a Single Point of Contact for a particular HR program, service, or system onsite.
- You will be responsible for new hire orientation facilitation and coordination.
- Responsible for researching compliance and labor relation issues if they arise.
- Providing hand-on HR process and systems-related support to your project colleagues
- Maintaining accurate files and records in compliance with company, country, state, and local requirements.
- Facilitating a high level of communication within the team and across HR.
- Other duties as required
