Description:
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of progressive experience in ANZ payroll execution and management.
- Relevant certification in payroll, accounting, finance and/or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP EC/ SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and payroll systems, with experience in system implementation and configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and practices across ANZ as it relates to payroll and HR Operations, with the ability to interpret and apply them in a multinational context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Experience in implementing payroll process improvements.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and their integration with payroll functions is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in addition to high attention to detail.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage stakeholders, and deliver results within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting, enabling informed decision-making and continuous process improvement.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS/SPECIALISED COURSES AND/OR TRAINING:
- HRIS Implementation and Administration:
Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) with system implementation experience. - Payroll Management:
Expertise in payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance across ANZ.
Training in payroll software/systems and international payroll practices. - Employment Laws and Compliance:
In-depth understanding of ANZ HR Operations and Payroll Legislation, compliance requirements, and updates.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager ANZ, the incumbent will be tasked to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of outsourced payroll, compliance with local legislation, and provides expert guidance on payroll-related matters to relevant internal and external stakeholders. The role will collaborate with key stakeholders across HR, Finance, Executive Leadership and external partners (including third party payroll and/or software providers, superannuation providers and relevant government agencies) to streamline processes and enhance employee satisfaction.
