As our HR/ People Operations Manager part-time (m/f/x), you are the backbone of all HR processes in our company and therefore manage the administrative setup of our entire employee lifecycle which positively contributes to our company culture. We expect that this role to be covered with a 28-32 hour work week with 2 days per week in the office.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expert in HRIS management (ideally but not required Personio)
- Fluent in German and English, confidently able to work in both languages as needed
- Demonstrable expertise understanding German labour law, external agencies such as Arbeitsamt
- Knowledge of contract creations, labor/employment law, social security taxes, foreign entities, relocation processes, or any similar areas
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Understand how to leverage a career framework to facilitate factual objective career growth and salary conversations
- Managed evaluation cycles (can drive downward cycle and upward cycle)
- Worked with Employer of Records (EOR)
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO HERE AT SHARPIST
Our HR & People Operations specialist will play a key part in building a positive culture and employee experience. In this role you’ll have responsibility over all our HR task, starting with Payroll, you’ll manage and improve our administrative HR processes to ensure a positive employee experience in every part of the employee life cycle. Manage our company-wide payroll together with our external consultancy. You’ll need to be comfortable working closely with our leadership team such as your manager the COO and our CEO. As the HR advisor to our leadership you’ll support them on all HR matters being it operational, strategical, legal and so forth. You will also work closely with the new finance manager on everything people and budget related. As an HR ops specialist you are comfortable navigating all the internal tools such as our HRIS, ATS, Docusign, Travel Management and so forth. You are also comfortable with all the external tools and stakeholders, ensuring they work smooth and where relevant integrated, i.el such as: Arbeitsamt, Versicherungen, Arbeitsschutz, DATEV, ELStAM, LinkedIn Recruiter, Expense Management and so forth.
TASKS:
- Monthly Payroll and admin such as maintaining and advancing our healthcare and benefits management
- Implement solutions to optimize communication between HR and employees
- Analyse, forecast employee related KPI’s (salaries, budgets, succession, attrition, engagement metrics ,etc)
- All admin such as Zeugnisse, Arbeitsbescheinigungen, VISA support, Elternzeit
- Organising key events such Christmas and Summer party
- Manage employee wellbeing and ensure you’ll be their advocate
- Supporting onboarding training, employee development & performance management, offboarding including exit interviews
- Steer & support Recruitment together with the hiring managers
- Support office management tasks
